If you’re in St. Ives and have 30 minutes to spare, take a minor detour away from the harbour and visit a hidden gem.
The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden (part of Tate St Ives) is a joy. There are many examples of her work here and the garden setting is full of beautiful, structural planting which perfectly complements the pieces.
Forget the boat trips, souvenirs and sea gulls, this is the best.
