Goodbye to the Teignmouth Electron

Some time ago, I opened up a petition to request the National Maritime Museum to bring the wreckage of the Teignmouth Electron back to the UK:

Sadly, whilst my posts have attracted readers, they have not attracted petition supporters. Therefore, I plan to close the petition shortly and leave the task of repatriation (or not) to others.

A shame.

If everyone who’d read the posts had signed the petition, the remains of the yacht would probably have been home by now.

C’est la vie.
