The Dark Side

When visiting other parts of the world, a tourist is often presented with challenging sights, which are not welcome to his or her way of thinking.

Yesterday, on our trip to Cancun, we saw a little, emaciated pony.

The pony had been placed in one of those towable, wheeled lidless boxes that people in the UK use for camping gear. It had sides about a foot high.

The pony was being towed in this contraption down the main coastal highway, by a rusty old bus.

This is clearly wrong, for reasons which are too many to list. I have not included a picture, as this is too upsetting.

If you are an animal lover, please put a £1 in a charity tin and let’s help educate people about the right way to look after their four legged dependents.
