Sunday

Got up late, well 9am.  Offspring staying with friends last night, so the house is quiet this morning.  Can even hear the clocks ticking, which is unusual and a bit freaky, as the place is normally in uproar for some reason.

Body seems to have survived yesterday’s attempts at riding, but not yesterday’s anniversary drinks and dinner.  Lunch appears to have been chocolate and a bag of crisps.  Not good.  Naughty mummy.  Neck very twisty today.  Offspring generally says that I look like I’m auditioning to be an owl, as my head’s nearly on back to front.  Oh well.

Weather looks good, so the garden calls.  Alternatively, could just slump in front of the TV and watch BBC’s coverage of the cross country at Badminton.  Hmm … Maybe the weeds can wait.

Talking of Badminton.  Hope to go tomorrow, (Show jumping) but this will be dependent on weather and family, who don’t enjoy trailing round the trade stands (why not?).  So a family board meeting will need to be called tomorrow and a vote taken.
