Now I’ve started blogging, I’ve decided to make my personal goals public in an attempt to make me commit to them (yeah, right).  So, here goes:

      1. Standing agenda item number 1.  Lose weight.
      2. Get fit.
      3. Get my dystonia symptoms under control (OK, that one needs the might of the NHS behind it, not just me, but it still seems a good goal).
      4. Get selected to ride on UK’s Olympic dressage team for Rio (my husband says that this is also unrealistic and in his words: “You have to borrow other people’s horses to ride and you don’t have any sponsors. What medication are you taking?” Hmm, just picky, I say. It’s true that I’ll probably have to increase my test scores; 64% is hardly going to get Carl Hester shaking in his boots, but everyone has to start somewhere.

Having read all that, I seem to have given myself a lot to do.  I think, I’ll  have a lie down and have a think about it.  Now, where’s that box of chocolates?…..
