Now I’ve started blogging, I’ve decided to make my personal goals public in an attempt to make me commit to them (yeah, right). So, here goes:
- Standing agenda item number 1. Lose weight.
- Get fit.
- Get my dystonia symptoms under control (OK, that one needs the might of the NHS behind it, not just me, but it still seems a good goal).
- Get selected to ride on UK’s Olympic dressage team for Rio (my husband says that this is also unrealistic and in his words: “You have to borrow other people’s horses to ride and you don’t have any sponsors. What medication are you taking?” Hmm, just picky, I say. It’s true that I’ll probably have to increase my test scores; 64% is hardly going to get Carl Hester shaking in his boots, but everyone has to start somewhere.
Having read all that, I seem to have given myself a lot to do. I think, I’ll have a lie down and have a think about it. Now, where’s that box of chocolates?…..
